Abstract

Soil nourishment is a method to supply essential elements to the soil for fulfilment the exhaust nutrients. Employing of chemical treatment although accomplish the need but also cause adverse effect. In the present scenario sustainable approach required to achieve goal with betterment of environment.  Now a day, generation of organic solid waste is foremost challenge which demands healthy and sustainable elucidation. Present work based upon the utilization of Black plum leaf through vermicomposting and transform organic waste into valuable product. This work was done by suitable exotic worm verities viz. Eisenia foetida and Eudrilus eugenia in association with microorganisms. Result was obtained better in a set in which Jamun leaf litter amalgamate with cattle dung in equal ratio. Fine granular appearance at the end of process indicated the completion of process. Present technique suggest that organic waste or any plant materials which has soft if processed through vermicomposting methods not only will reduce the burden of organic waste but also their use in garden increase the greenery of the city as well as organic farming.
