Abstract

Double dispersion and mixed convection effects on heat and mass transfer in a non-Darcy magneto hydro dynamic non-Newtonian fluid over a vertical surface in a porous medium are studied under the constant temperature and concentration. The governing boundary layer equations are solved numerically by the method of fourth order Runge-Kutta method coupled with shooting technique using MATLAB software. The velocity, temperature concentration and heat and mass transfer profiles are presented graphically for various values of the parameters.
