Abstract

In this paper, we deal with free convention flow through a porous medium along a vertical wall under the influence of transverse magnetic field. The horizontal walls are adiabatic. The magnetic field applied perpendicular to the rectangular channel. The governing flow equations in the fluid region are governed by Brinkman extended Darcy model. The flow problem axis described by means of parabolic partial differential equations and solutions are obtained by an implicit finite difference technique. The velocity and the temperature fields are obtained and their behaviour is discussed computationally for different values of governing parameters.
