Abstract

A web based disease reporting system on a mobile platform is being developed for the epidemiology unit of Ghana Veterinary Services. The system will consist of 5 modules namely; Administrative module, Data collection, Data analysis, Reporting and Information dissemination. The major advantages include the full integration of the various units of Veterinary Services and timeliness in reporting and early response irrespective of geographical location.
