Abstract

The present work analyzes the influence of a first-order homgeneous chemical reaction and thermal radiaton on hydromagnetic free convection heat and mass transfer for a viscous fluid in the presence of thermal diffusion and heat generation. The plate is assumed to moves with a constant velocity in the direction of the flow. A uniform magnetic field acts perpendicular to the porous surface which absorbs the fluid with a suction velocity varying with time. The dimensionless governing equations for this investigation are solved analytically using two terms harmonic and non-harmonic functions .The effects of various parameters on the velocity, temperature and concentration fields are presented graphically and discussed.
