By measuring the flux (the reaction), the unknown source (the action) in some differential equation can be identified .For this inverse problem, there are two approaches .The Kaczmarz's method which is the same as SOR method (successive over – relaxation) and the Moore's generalized inverse operator .All of these methods are extended to deal with any Hilbert spaces (not necessarily pivot spaces). Some numerical examples are presented.
The main aim of this paper is to define and study the Humbert matrix polynomials. An explicit representation, differential recurrence relations and a three-term matrix recurrence relation for the Humbert matrix polynomials are given. The hypergeometric matrix representations are established and expansion of the Humbert matrix polynomials as series of Hermite matrix polynomials are obtained.

The aim of this paper is to introduce a new class of sets called πgr-closed sets in topological spaces and to study their properties. Further , we define and study πgr-continuity, πgr-irresolute maps and πgr-T1/2-Space.

The area of ideals is important in the study of Analysis, algebra, Geometry and Computer science. The various types of ideals have been studied, for example  ideals and  ideals. The  ideals defined on real Banach spaces are referred to as - ideals. The natural examples of - ideals with respect to their biduals, are order continuous Banach lattices. Using the approximation property, we shall study properties of - ideals and their characterization. We define the set of compact operators   on  to be - ideals given that  is a separable reflexive Banach space with approximation property if and only if there is a sequence  of finite rank of operators with     and . We shall show that -ideals containing no copies of sequences  are strict - ideals.

The final destination of the current initiative to covert geotechnical design from the traditional working stress design to limit state design (LSD) is semi-probabilistic limit state design or level 1 reliability-based design. An important step towards the development of a semi-probabilistic limit state design is the calibration of partial factors in a reliability theory framework. This requires a working knowledge of reliability theory and calibration models. Generally the application of reliability theory in geotechnical engineering is at an infant stage and therefore there is need to adapt existing reliability methodologies to the geotechnical discipline. Accordingly this paper presents reliability tools required for semi-probabilistic geotechnical limit state design.
Building on part of the work of Comellas et al. and extending our results (Starants), we analyze the Six Degree of Separation Theory: We prove that, in considering people, along with their circle of acquaintances, as mathematical objects, there might be, for n people, either a connection so strong as to be mathematically treated as 1 degree of separation or so weak as to be mathematically treated as uncountably many degrees of separation. We also reword the notation, the definitions, and the introduction from Starants.

The transportation problems with multiple objectives having more than one restriction are very important from the practical point of view. In this paper, an algorithm is developed to solve Multiple Fractional Time Transportation Problem with Restrictions (MFTPR), which is solved by a lexicographic primal code. The developed algorithm is supported by a real life example of Metal Scrap Trade Corporation Limited.
The aim of this paper is to introduce and investigate a new decomposition called supra regular generalized locally closed sets and a new decomposition of continuous maps called supra regular generalized locally continuous maps. Furthermore, we obtain several properties of the new notions.
The aim of this paper is to introduce a new decompositions namely supra ω-locally closed sets and define supra ω-locally continuous functions. This paper also discusses some of their properties.
In this paper, we investigate the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of reciprocal type functional equation  (0.1) where  is a mapping with  is the space of non-zero real numbers,  and  for all  We also illustrate geometrical interpretation of the functional equation (0.1).
The notions of pre*- closed, pre*-open sets and pre*-closure, pre*-interior of a subset in topological spaces are introduced in this paper. Their connections with other existing concepts such as pre-closed, semi-closed, α-closed etc. are investigated.

An analytical study is performed to investigate the effects of chemical reaction and radiation on unsteady MHD flow past an exponentially accelerated vertical plate with variable temperature and variable mass diffusion in the presence of applied transverse magnetic field. It is assumed that the effect of viscous dissipation is negligible in the energy equation and there is a first order chemical reaction between the diffusing species and the fluid. The flow is assumed to be in x’ †direction which is taken along the infinite vertical plate in the upward direction and y’ †axis is taken normal to the plate. At time t’ > 0, the both temperature and species concentration levels near the plate are raised linearly with time t. A general exact solution of the governing partial differential equations is obtained by usual closed analytical method. The velocity, temperature and concentration fields are studied for different physical parameters like thermal Grashof number (Gr), mass Grashof number (Gm), Schmidt number (Sc), Prandtl number (Pr), radiation parameter (R), magnetic field parameter (M), accelerated parameter (a), heat absorption parameter, chemical reaction parameter (K) and time (t) graphically.
In this paper, we have constructed a spline method to obtain error bounds for discrete deficient quartic spline Interpolation matching the given functional values at the mesh points and its difference at mid points with uniform mesh points.
