TheÂ rapid progressÂ of biotechnologyÂ and biodata analysisÂ methodsÂ hasÂ led to the emergenceÂ and fast growth of a promisingÂ field Bioinformatics.Â Â BioinformaticsÂ Â isÂ the sci- ence of collecting and analyzingÂ complex biological data. More specificallyÂ itÂ isÂ the scienceÂ of managing,Â mining integrating and interpretingÂ informationÂ from biologicalÂ data at genomic, proteomic, transcriptomic and metabalomicÂ levels. Data mining or knowledge discovery from data (KDD), in its most fundamen- tal form, isÂ to extract interesting nontrivialÂ implicit previously unknown and potentially useful information from data. Therefore the scenarioÂ Â isÂ to bridge this twoÂ fields, data mining and bioinformatics, for the successfulÂ mining of biological data. In this paper, we present an overview of data miningÂ studies that help biodataÂ analysis and also surveys on some algorithmsÂ that may motivates the further development of data miningÂ tools for the taming of various kinds of biological data.
This paper analyzes the benefits and limitations of E-commerce. Ecommerce, in the popular sense, can be defined as: the use of the Internet and the Web to conduct business transactions. A more technical definition would be: e-commerce involves digitally enabled commercial transactions between and among organizations and individuals. E-commerce differs from e-business in that no commercial transaction, an exchange of value across organizational or individual boundaries, takes place in e-business. In this research paper we will discuss strength and weaknesses of E-commerce.
The recent advances in the area of Wireless Communications in Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANET) have brought an emerging platform for both industrialists and for researchers. VANET possess a dynamic topology with multi-hop networks leading to an infrastructure less nature. Communication happens in two ways, one between the moving vehicles and with the Road Side Units (RSU). The usage of wireless medium would surely make it vulnerable to different attacks. By enabling prompt and correct warning messages on road conditions, accident cases etc. VANET can be used to save lives of people, which is the most important application of VANET. Distributing warning messages over a long range is however a very challenging task since message integrity has to be ensured. Also for making the system more reliable non-repudiation should also be included in the security module. A survey of security issues in notification and warning message dissemination is done in this paper.
