The scramble for digital control in another concept of technology that has gained vast popularity in today’s society. The scramble for digital control involves numerous steps taken to come up with key strategies to control the market. The scramble for digital control hence is seeking to triumph over all other market players. Scramble refers to a juggled or unorthodox way of doing something. Scramble best refers to a pool or group of people struggling to get or acquire something in a manner that can be said to be grabbing or simply taking without permission. The digital world today seems to have adopted scramble techniques as various people strive to become top market leaders. The digital control scramble has since led to the development of various other functions in the digital field where companies aim to become the top market leaders. The improvements in technology in today’s world have therefore led to differences that create an adequate atmosphere for the scramble to thrive. The introduction of increased bandwidth, offline access, and other systems has since created an inviting environment for businesses to thrive and the existence of scrambling.
This study examines the psycho-demographic profiles (gender, socio-economic status, intrinsic motivation and self-efficacy) of Ibadan residents on environmental behaviour. The sample for the study consisted of 257 participants purposively selected from three local government that is Ibadan south-west, Ibadan north and Ibadan south-east local government. Respondents gender composition is 130 males and 127 females and it comprises of both illiterates and literates. A descriptive research design was adopted for this study. A research question and three hypotheses were conjectured. Data collected were subjected to statistical analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient (PPMC) and Multiple Regression statistical analysis of SPSS. The results showed the pattern of environmental behaviour of residents in Ibadan. Respondents agreed that human beings are severely abusing the environment(Mean = 3.33; SD = .77). Also, they voted massively for solving environmental problems through scientific and technology development (Mean = 3.12; SD = 8.3). The result further indicated that self-efficacy and motivation correlated significantly with environmental behaviour. Also there is significant joint effect of the independent variables on the resident's environmental behaviour. Results showed that each of the independent variables made a significant contribution to the prediction of residents' environmental behaviour among the Ibadan residents. On the basis of these finding, it was recommended that environmental behaviour should led to public policy and educational efforts that may help to minimize or abate the impact of humans on the environment and also behavioural psychologist should also focus on educational effort on impact of local environmental problems on human values and provide a list of specific environmental and avoidance behaviour that are part of peoples' daily routine.
Collecting survey and feedback for analyzing useful information plays an important role in many fields such as business, market, manager, etc. In education, this analysis is the key in improving the teaching quality and the management process. We are interested in comments on students which are collected in the surveys. To evaluate the progress of students, surveys are collected from related person, including lecturers, teaching assistants, and companies.Currently, the comments on students are processed manually. In this work, we propose a method for classifying topicand analyzing the sentiment in these comments. We employ machine learning technique to solve these two sub-problems.We introduce a new concept called Bag-of-Structure (BoS) for sentiment mining and classification process. The experiment results demonstrate that our proposed method yields useful information for making decision to improve the current education system.
