Abstract

The aim of the study is to see the effectiveness of the use of 'Virtual Reality Goggle' used by Year 4 students in terms of understanding of science concept called ‘’solar system’and the impacts on motivation and ICT skills. This study is a quasi-experimental study where the treatment groups were used VRG. A total of 60 students from Year 4 in one of the school in Kajang were chosen as respondents for the study. A  test paper used to measure the understanding of science concept while questionnaire was used to measure the motivation and ICT skills. All the data in this study were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) programme version 22.0. Descriptive and inferential analysis methods used  to calculate the mean scores and dependent t-tests to determine if there is a significant difference between the control and the treatment groups. The findings show that there are significant differences between the use of  VRG to  the understanding of science concept, motivation, and the ICT skills.
