Understanding Workplace Happiness in Schools: The Relationships between Workplace Happiness, Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy, Affective Commitment and Innovative Behavior
Abstract
Results of this study indicate that there is a direct correlation between workplace happiness in schools to teachers’ efficacy (collective and self-efficacy), affective commitment and innovative behavior. In the context of this finding requires that school administrators work environments that encourages more happiness in order to change attitudes, self-confidence and a group of teachers to improve teaching and student learning. In addition, this study also reinforces the need for teachers to enhance confidence and trust collectively if there is an atmosphere or culture that is more happiness (pleasant working atmosphere). In conclusion, these findings can be used by the school management to create an atmosphere of happiness in the workplace to improve the efficacy, innovative behavior and affective commitment in teachers' burden.
