Instilling the Culture of Corporate or Business Ethics in the Cameroon Educational System – the Example of the Catholic University Institute of Buea – the Entrepreneural University

Abstract

Ethics are the rules or standards that govern our decisions on a daily basis, many people equate “ethics†with conscience or a simplistic sense of “right†and “wrong “and others say that ethics is an internal code that governs an individual’s conduct, deep-seated into each person by his/her family, faith, tradition, community, laws etc. Professional organizations and corporations, normally have a written “Code of Ethics†that governs the standards of professional conduct expected of all the employees. Ethical issues include the rights and duties between a company and its employees, suppliers, customers and neighbours.
