The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of ownership structres on value relevance of book value, earnings and cash flows in security prices given by firms listed in Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) in Iran for the period from 2004 to 2014. The study basically use Feltham and Ohlson (1995) valuation model. The empirical results of the paper indicate that First , earning per share, book value and cash flows are value relevant, while Second , book value is the most value relevant variable and cash flows have more value relevance than earning per share in all samples. Third , incremental value relevance of book value, earnings per share and cash flows is greater in private â€“ owned firms than in state-owned firms
Fast food industry is one of those industries which have seen abnormal pace of growth even in the time of economic recession. In few years fast food industry has gain much reputation all over the world because people of every age group like and enjoy fast food. People have been facilitated by the fast food restaurants by reducing their time and efforts to eat. Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Dominos, KFC, Nandoâ€™s, Burger King etc are competing in the Pakistani markets. Fast food has entered in the life of people as their status symbol. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the marketing practices adopted by fast food industry and its influence on consumerâ€™s buying habits with reference to Karachi city.
This study focused on Public Relations as a tool for effective healthcare management, using Hetta Medical Centre, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, as a study, with the aim of discovering the relationships between good public relations and indices of Hettaâ€™s Management performance. As a result, self-administered questionnaires were given to purposeful samples of both patients at Hetta, and Hetta staff. Correlation test statistics was applied to data generated, and results show that the correlation coefficients are all positive, and correlation coefficient of the satisfaction items with public relations items (r = 0.327, 4.92, 0.502, 0.511, 0.437, 0.310) and (r = 0.293, 0.514, 0.388, 0.360, 0.370, 0.312) are significant and positive at the acceptable region of 0.01 and 0.05. This showed that there is a positive relationship between good public relations and Hetta Medical Centreâ€™s management performance. The study recommends that private hospitals should practice good public relations, train and retrain both medical and non-medical staff in professional patient care, and invest in state-of-the art medical equipment, among others.
