Abstract

This study investigated creativity and entrepreneurial development in selected manufacturing firms in Anambra State, Nigeria. The objective of the study was to assess the extent of relationship between creativity and entrepreneurial development in the focused organisations. Correlational research design was employed  in  the study.  Data were analyzed using the Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient which establishes the extent of relationship between two variables. The result showed that creativity has significant positive relationship with entrepreneurial development. It is concluded that  creativity has high level of positive influence on entrepreneurship development. Based on the findings, we recommend that entrepreneurs should embrace high level of creativity by seeing problems as opportunities and  recognizing the creative power of mistakes as a gateway towards innovation.
