Abstract

A convenient and efficient one pot sequence has been developed for transformation of alcohols to amine using sodium oxide and p-Tolune sulphonyl chloride with zinc and zinc chloride at mild conditions. KeyWords: One pot, Amine, Alcohol, zinc chloride, Zinc,paratoulene sulphonyl chloride.
