Abstract

Understanding of the proteins, its structure, functions and properties had been carried out centuries together. Even though, it is not clear to the educated non scientific professionals. Indulgent makes the individuals to use the technology in various applications and it leads to overall development. Therefore, it is very essential to have informative investigations based on data available in particular area. This study involves with the basics of protein engineering, advances in computational protein engineering and their applications along with procedures have been selectively documented. It is completely academic review work initiated to inspire the scholars and readers with clear distinguish of every point. The scope of this review is to summarize the current status of computational protein engineering.
