Abstract

The relationship between the two dimensions of National policy frameworks and local adaptability ream in the grassroots through local people’s activities in relation to the policy frameworks sustainability has continued to be undermined. Their importance in understanding environmental disputes are limited. Therefore, this paper has contextualized the whole study in relation to a given situation in which environmental disputes manifest and illustrated the logic behind the tempting nature of mediation over other mechanisms of dispute resolution for environmental disputes
