Abstract

This research attempts to contribute to organizational theory by exploring the impact of culture on the success of a multinational organization. While the literature review produced five cultural attributes, the study produced seven attributes that emerged from a case using a multinational organization with a global supply chain. These seven attributes are discussed in the context of the presence of synergy and interdependency within the organization. The study concludes in tactical detail that the culture in a global organization can be enabled by synergistic opportunities and business unit interdependency.
