Abstract

Fast food industry is one of those industries which have seen abnormal pace of growth even in the time of economic recession.  In few years fast food industry has gain much reputation all over the world because people of every age group like and enjoy fast food. People have been facilitated by the fast food restaurants by reducing their time and efforts to eat. Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Dominos, KFC, Nando’s, Burger King etc are competing in the Pakistani markets. Fast food has entered in the life of people as their status symbol. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the marketing practices adopted by fast food industry and its influence on consumer’s buying habits with reference to Karachi city.
