This paper deals with the application of the Golden Rule and the Optimal Pricing Strategy to a software as a service (SaaS) product in the legal technology space to achieve profit maximization and maintain its monopoly. As shown in the paper, for attaining profit maximization and maintaining the monopoly, a firm can apply three strategies- The first one is to reduce the price of the product, the second one is to create a segmentation of products, and the third one is to avoid a single optimal price to maximize profits. In addition to the above benefits, an Optimal pricing strategy and the Golden Rule can help firms create a high barrier to entry for competition.
Workers? Role disengagement is a concern to private Universities in Nigeria occasioned by
workplace incivility, workplace bullying, workplace mobbing, and workplace toxicity. The paper examined
the effect of workplace-terrorism and workers? role disengagement in the selected Private Universities in
South-West, Nigeria. Survey research design method was adopted. The target population comprised 1,751
lower and middle level non-academic staff. Multistage sampling technique was utilized. The sample size of
418 respondents was obtained through Krejcie and Morgan formula. A structured questionnaire was
adapted, validated and used for data collection. The Cronbach?s alpha reliability coefficients for the
constructs ranged from 0.704 to 0.891. The response rate was 87.5%. Data were analysed using descriptive
and inferential statistics. Findings revealed that workplace-terrorism had positive and significant effect on
workers? role disengagement (Adj. R2 = 0.749; F(4, 361) = 272.614, p<0.05). The study concluded that it is
vital for organization to safeguard its workforce from being dispirited if it must sustain their full engagement
at work.
This research objective is to analyze the effect of competitive strategy on the construction
services industry performance with the moderation of organizational characteristics. This research analysis
of 260 manager and the CEO of the large industrial construction services in DKI Jakarta Indonesia.
Analysis method using structrural equation modelling with AMOS. Research result showing competitive
strategies affect organizational performance, business environment affect organizational performance,
organizational characteristics influence organizational performance, competitive strategies strengthen the
influence of competitive strategies on organizational performance, competitive strategies strengthen the
influence of competitive strategies on organizational performance. Some practical suggestions for the project
manager and CEO of the construction service company as follows: The construction service industry places
more emphasis on the cost leadership strategy, especially low cost attributes, which emphasize strong
control of expenditure and competitive price competition, so that organizational performance increases; The
construction service industry places more emphasis on the internal environment, which is a moderate risk
action in work, so that organizational performance increases; The construction service industry is more
directive in that it emphasizes independence and initiative in solving problems, so that organizational
performance increases; The construction service industry must emphasize strong control on expenditure and
competitive price competition supported by the nature of independence and initiative in solving problems so
that the performance of construction organizations increases.

This research will analyze intellectual capital’s influence towards company’s competitive
advantage, intellectual capital and competitive advantage’s influences toward company’s performance,
company’s competitive advantage and performance’s influences toward company’s values, and mediation of
intellectual capital’s influence toward company’s performance through competitive advantage. Explanatory
research with quantitative approach is used to understand the intellectual capital’s influence on company’s
competitive advantage and performance as well as its impact towards company’s values. This research will
test the hypotheses using statistical path analysis and panel data regression. 43 banking companies registered
in Indonesia Stock Exchange by 2017 are considered as the research population from which will be taken 37
suitable banks as sample. The results of this research show (1) Value added capital employed (VACA) and
structural capital value added (STVA) are not influential toward competitive advantage. Value added human
capital (VAHU) is influential towards competitive advantage; (2) VACA, STVA, and VAHU are influential
toward company’s performance; (3) competitive advantage is not influential toward company’s value,
whereas company’s performance is influential toward company’s values; and (4) VAHU, VACA, and STVA
are indirectly influential toward company’s performance through competitive advantage is not supported due
to path Y1 to Y2 is not significant. This brief explanation leads to a conclusion that competitive advantage is
not able to mediate intellectual capital’s influence towards company’s performance. This research may
confirm that value added human capital (VAHU), as one of the intellectual capital indicators, needs to be
increased in order to ameliorate banking company’s competitive advantage and performance. The active
involvement of shareholders is significant to support the company’s commitment and boost its performance
to survive in any condition and increase company’s values to attract more investors.
