Abstract

The purpose of this present study was to examine digital literacy awareness among Thai students, and also to compare differences in digital literacy awareness in terms of gender and place of origin. Data were collected from sixty students who studied in an undergraduate program at a selected public university in Bangkok through a self-administrated survey questionnaire. Results showed that the overall digital literacy awareness among this group of students was at a high level. To compare differences in digital literacy awareness between males and females, and participants with a different place of origin, independent samples t-test analysis was used. Findings revealed that males and females had no significant difference in digital literacy awareness as did place of origin.
