Abstract

This paper, entitled recommendations for improving the quality of vocational education in Mekong Delta conducted during the period from March 2014 to March 2016. This section demonstrates how the aim and objectives of the study have been achieved. Moreover, answers to the research questions are provided. The results from data analysis revealed that respondents consider the following factors as the most influential factors: (1) Facilities; (2) Lecturers; (3) Method of delivery and (4) Curriculums. All four most influential factors related to the quality of vocational education in the Mekong Delta with significance level of 5 %. This result confirmed what found in the Facilities that was the most important factor to the quality of vocational education and then the second is the Curriculums related to the quality of vocational education.

Therefore, this study has made significant original contributions to knowledge at academic and practical levels as the first explanatory empirical study. Besides, this research is an in-depth understanding of the factors influencing the quality of vocational education. This research is the best of the researcher’s knowledge, a review of the literature in the field of the quality of vocational education revealed the need for more empirical research. Therefore, this study integrates and extends the studies conducted in this area that addressed the issue of the quality of training in general and the quality of vocational education in Mekong Delta in particular. Accordingly, this study is the first study that has been studied in Mekong Delta. At the same time, the result was also scientific evidence and important for further researchers and policy makers who apply them for developing the quality of vocational education in the Mekong Delta and the quality training to meet enterprises’ demand and to meet society’ need.
