OBJECTIVE:–Purpose of this study was to correlate NCS and CTQS
to asses the severity of CTS in long term key board users.
METHODS :-35 healthy subjects of age group between 20 and 60
were selected. Written consent was taken from subjects who fulfilled
the inclusion criteria and evaluated thoroughly, CTQS was given to
subjects and score were obtained. For The selected subjects NCS for
the median nerve of dominant extremity was recorded. Both sensory
and motor NCS finding were taken from the assessed extremity.
RESULTS:-The correlation of CTQS with sensory symptoms is higher
than the motor symptoms. The results also showed that there was no
correlation with DKBU and NCS with similar result to CTQS. So we
can assume that, there may be some other factors other than DKBU
attributed to CTS pathogenesis found no correlation between CTQS and
NCS in long term Keyboard user.
CONCLUSION: - The study demonstrated that there is a correlation
between CTQS and NCS in long term keyboard user. So we can assume
that, there may be some other factors other than DKBU attributed to
CTS pathogenesis

This survey was conducted on general public has gone for surgery. This
present study is conducted to assess and to compare, level of knowledge
about anesthesia and anesthesiologist. After confirming their willingness
to take part in the questionnaire, patients were explained a about
the pattern of questions so they can reply without any confusion.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
The survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires [Table 1 ]
in google form. Two adults groups are [1] Indian gujarati community
in USA and [2] Gujarat in India. Questionnaire was available
in two languages (A) Gujarati (B) English Survey was conducted in
postoperative period. All these groups have sub group of Male and
Female. All questions are not compulsory because, Many patients have
informed, “ I don’t remember We have promised, Participants that
information collected will be kept confidential and are just for academic
and research purpose.

Tuberculosis (TB), primarily caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) remains one of the fatal contagious diseases accountable for millions of deaths yearly across the globe – droplet or aerosol being the mode of transmission. Apart from the peculiar microbial physiology and drug efflux pumps with drug modifying enzymes that make Mtb impervious to the existing drug regimen recommended by the WHO via DOTS, lack of social awareness and misuse or mismanagement of drugs make it even more deadlier transforming Mtb to MDR-TB & XDR-TB, thus increasing the number of TB cases globally per annum. Amidst the dire need to combat the rising cases of drug-resistant TB, this article discusses the potential use of phytochemical derived efflux pump inhibitors (EPIs) and immunotherapy to fight TB with a brief insight into the molecular mechanism and structure of drug-efflux pumps found in Mtb.

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of Calcium hydroxide and triple antibiotic paste as an effective method to control interappointment pain.

Material and method: Forty-four patients were included in this study, presenting with chief complain of symptomatic irreversible pulpitis with apical periodontitis. The patients were equally divided into two groups, Group 1 received calcium hydroxide as an intracanal medicament and Group 2 receiving triple antibiotic paste as an intracanal medicament. Preoperative and interappointment pain was recorded using a numerical rating scale (NRS).

Results: Both groups reported highest incidence of pain post-operatively at 6hrs, which decreased gradually from 6 hours to 12, 24, 48 hours. There was no statically significance difference between two groups in this study.

Conclusion: Intracanal application of CaOH and TAP in teeth with symptomatic pulpitis with apical periodontitis were found to be equally effective in reducing the interappointment pain

Background: Improving the quality of nurses’ working life is challenging for healthcare
organizations because of its effect on the staff, organizations, and customers. The
development of supportive environments will enhance the quality of nursing work life
in organizations. However, the association between perceived organizational support
and the quality of working life among nurses was limited information.
Aim: This study aims to assess the relationship between perceived organizational
support and the quality of nurses’ work life at a King Fahad Hospital Jeddah, Saudi
Arabia.
Methodology: This current study was conducted at King Fahad Hospital, Jeddah,
Saudi Arabia. A descriptive correlational design was used. A convenience sampling
technique was implemented to gather the needed data using a self-report questionnaire.
Data was collected using the Survey of Perceived Organizational Support and Brook’
Quality of Nursing Work Life Survey. In addition, a demographic questionnaire was
developed by the researcher.
Results: About 80.6% of staff nurses showed a moderate POS level, and 63.6% of staff
nurses experienced an average level of QNWL. The Pearson correlation coefficients
showed a statistically significant correlation between POS and overall QNWL (0.541).
The correlations between POS and the sub-scales of QNWL came in the range (0.367
– 0.521). Also, it found that non-Saudi nurses exhibited higher POS and QNWL levels
compared to Saudi nurses.
Conclusion and Recommendation: The study found that perceived organizational
support is positively related to QNWL, which means that the higher nurses’ perceived
organizational support will improve the nurses’ quality of working life. These findings
should be used by nursing administrations and health policymakers to develop a series
of organizational support that can improve the quality of working life among
nurses. Future research, further comparative research is needed to examine POS and
its relation to QNWL among different healthcare organizations.
